In the 18th century, the Dutch built their headquarters, Galle Fort, on the Sri Lankan coast. Now, those beautiful old buildings have transformed into trendy shops, cafes, and restaurants. From shopping and exploring the city to seeing the sunset from the fort’s wall, there is lots to do at this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Today after breakfast at the hotel, head out for a game drive to Yala National Park, home to a high concentration of leopards, an abundance of Asian elephant, wild buffalo, sloth bear, jackal, sambar deer and magnificent bird species.
Traverse through the scrubby bush, vast grassland, dense woodland and sparkling lakes.

Today after breakfast, head out to visit the Seetha Amman Temple.
This colourful Hindu temple, 7km southeast of Nuwara Eliya, is said to mark the spot where Sita was held captive by the demon king Rawana, and where she prayed daily for Rama to come and rescue her.
After visiting the temple, see the beautiful Gregory Lake. The lake offers relaxing picnic spots on the shore and leisure activities such as rides in swan shaped paddle boats, normal boatrides, pony rides along the shore, water walking balls, watersports such as jetskiing and windsurfing.
